Join Fiert\u00e9 Fredericton Pride or our Annual General Meeting in person or online, at 3PM on Sunday, January 29, 2023. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Our AGM is open for all to attend and will be held in person at the Crowne Plaza Hotel (659 Queen Street) in the Garrison Room on the Mezzanine Level. The building is physically accessible and masks will be required at all times in the AGM meeting space. KN95 masks will be available at the door. Two H13 HEPA filters will be running in the meeting room. <\/p>\n

There will be a break between the community discussion and the official AGM portion. Takeaway coffee will be available during the break and after the AGM, to be enjoyed outside. <\/p>\n

There is also a VIRTUAL option to participate in the AGM online. We will have ASL interpretation provided virtually. Registration is required for online participation.<\/p>\n

In order to participate, you must register in advance (due to the prevalence of interference on virtual platforms). <\/p>\n

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar. <\/p>\n

You DO NOT need to register to attend the AGM in person.<\/p>\n

We welcome your attendance and your feedback. Voting* will be restricted to the Membership in order to prioritize 2SLGBTQ+ voices. Interested in becoming a Member or joining the Board of Directors? Check out the next section!<\/p>\n

*Please note that Members may submit their vote electronically during the designated window without being present (virtually) at the AGM. Keep an eye on your email for more details!<\/p>\n

As per our by-laws: additional business must be submitted to an Officer of the Board at minimum 72 hours before the AGM.<\/p>\n

Voting at the AGM will be restricted to the Membership in order to prioritize 2SLGBTQ+ voices. Please ensure you have registered as a Member at least 72 hours before the AGM. <\/p>\n

There are several Director at Large positions and several reserved Chairs available. Submit an application or contact John for more info: chair@frederictonpride.com<\/a><\/p>\n

Nominee Directors will be elected during the AGM using in-person ballots and ElectionBuddy. All current FFP Members will receive an email on the morning of the AGM with instructions for secure, anonymous online voting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Check out our upcoming ElderPride events! Elderpride is an intergenerational 2SLGBTQ+ program. This event is open to 2SLGBTQ+ folx age 16+ who wish to connect across generations! Space is limited and preference will be given to individuals aged 50+. <\/p>\n

ElderPride hosts monthly socials, which include a meal and an activity. The ElderPride Proud Pals Penpal program and the ElderPride Cards+Boards (board games and card game afternoons) will launch in March. Join the ElderPride mailing list by emailing elderpride@frederictonrpride.com<\/a>! <\/p>\n

Our friends at Pride\/Swell+ and the Queer Heritage Initiative of New Brunswick are running an exciting Collage + Archiving event this week. The event is FREE and will happen at the Beaverbrook Art Gallery on<\/span> <\/span>January 26th at 6:00PM<\/strong>. Check it out:<\/span>https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pride…<\/a><\/p>\n

Our annual Sleigh Ride will be happening in late February. The date is not yet set as it is weather dependent. Folx on the ElderPride mailing list will receive an email as soon as the date is set. Our March event will include a lasagna dinner and bookbinding craft. Mark your calendars – the events will go live soon!<\/p>\n
