We have several exciting announcements to share, including our upcoming Annual General Meeting, our upcoming ElderPride events, and more!
Join Fierté Fredericton Pride or our Annual General Meeting in person or online, at 3PM on Sunday, January 29, 2023.
Our AGM is open for all to attend and will be held in person at the Crowne Plaza Hotel (659 Queen Street) in the Garrison Room on the Mezzanine Level. The building is physically accessible and masks will be required at all times in the AGM meeting space. KN95 masks will be available at the door. Two H13 HEPA filters will be running in the meeting room.
There will be a break between the community discussion and the official AGM portion. Takeaway coffee will be available during the break and after the AGM, to be enjoyed outside.
There is also a VIRTUAL option to participate in the AGM online. We will have ASL interpretation provided virtually. Registration is required for online participation.

You DO NOT need to register to attend the AGM in person.

*Please note that Members may submit their vote electronically during the designated window without being present (virtually) at the AGM. Keep an eye on your email for more details!
As per our by-laws: additional business must be submitted to an Officer of the Board at minimum 72 hours before the AGM.
Voting at the AGM will be restricted to the Membership in order to prioritize 2SLGBTQ+ voices. Please ensure you have registered as a Member at least 72 hours before the AGM.

Nominee Directors will be elected during the AGM using in-person ballots and ElectionBuddy. All current FFP Members will receive an email on the morning of the AGM with instructions for secure, anonymous online voting.

Check out our upcoming ElderPride events! Elderpride is an intergenerational 2SLGBTQ+ program. This event is open to 2SLGBTQ+ folx age 16+ who wish to connect across generations! Space is limited and preference will be given to individuals aged 50+.
ElderPride hosts monthly socials, which include a meal and an activity. The ElderPride Proud Pals Penpal program and the ElderPride Cards+Boards (board games and card game afternoons) will launch in March. Join the ElderPride mailing list by emailing elderpride@frederictonrpride.com!

Our annual Sleigh Ride will be happening in late February. The date is not yet set as it is weather dependent. Folx on the ElderPride mailing list will receive an email as soon as the date is set. Our March event will include a lasagna dinner and bookbinding craft. Mark your calendars – the events will go live soon!
